The German Market has officially arrived in town!!! There it stands in all its glory. Hundred's of tiny little garden sheds, full of the most extortionate food and bric-a-brac, known to man. To say i was in shock is an understatemeant; when i discoved a hot dog for £7! And what glorious garnishings do you get with this "delicious" hot dog? Nothing at all just BREAD! No onions, no relish, no cheese! Just a shittty, out of the tin, anorexic frankfurter. The bread, is 1/4 the size of the sausage. Hot Dog OFFFFF!!
Now there seems to be more English people on the stores then ever before. Clearly they have clocked onto this money spinner. Selling £1 key rings for £10 and russian hats for £100+. You'd think Sir Alan Sugar himself had sent them out on a task for the apprentice.
So you can only imagine how annoying it is when so many guys are under the illusion that the "Market" is the ideal date! Contrary to popular belief, i don't want to stand on the street like i'm homeless, freezing to death, drinking over priced beer! For me it is not a magical place, que the choir, snowflakes and the entrance to Narnia.
Okay, so the market might make it feel more like christmas with the flashy lights and fur!!
But do we really want to be reminded of the hefty price tag that comes with christmas. I can't even afford what i want to buy, let alone the bollocks in the market that i don't want.
So to all the men out there.........this may come as a surprise but.... a row of garden sheds and a whole heap of over priced "Shizer" does not make you any more appealing!
As far as i'm concerned...you can bore off and take the Market with you!!
